We’ve always wanted to go to Cuba and explore its many features. A friend, David Hope, introduced us to a resort he had been visiting for at least fifteen years. It was called “Memories Jibacoa”. He mentioned that the food was excellent value, and the accommodations were more than reasonable for Cuba, but the highlight was the staff; we would love the staff. He was bang on.

We did fall in love with the resort and its staff. The photographer in me was in heaven on several fronts. I had a phenomenal opportunity to take many subjects I genuinely enjoy. I love portraits, dance, and hopefully capturing the essence of the country.
