At the National Ballet School Block Party

I learned about the National Ballet School “Third Annual Block Party.” When My eyes popped wide open, my dear friend Marilyn Fourie said she would ask about me getting to attend as a photographer. Within a day, she asked and got me permission to photograph the event as an outside-the-system photographer.

The National Ballet School's "Third Annual Block Party" was a whirlwind of activity. The organizers deserve a round of applause for curating a diverse range of events, all of which were open to the public free of charge. From ballet to Bollywood, the dance workshops cater to various interests. The live performances by established artists added a touch of grandeur to the event.

There were numerous workshops throughout the day. I am not an expert on the program. It looks like they used both National Ballet Instructors and outside ones.

In addition to the workshops, there were “Pop-up Dances.” I have broken them into several categories. Pop-up workshops will have a section for each dance. Workshops are combined.

General images of the day are also combined.
